We visit the premises, measure and prepare a 3D drawing of the units to be installed. I then do a free quote based on the drawing and materials chosen.
Upon signed acceptance of the quote, I will give an estimated installation date, This date can be changed to either an earlier date or a later date dependant on work load. If I am busy with a project and it will finish earlier, I will start earlier, or the reverse may be true. I finish a project before starting a new one. I will not schedule the installation date till the deposit has been received. We schedule all installations in advance and they are prioritised by the receipt of deposits.
Upon receipt of the deposit, I will order materials, Once materials have been ordered, because they are cut specifically for a project, cancellation is not an option. This process takes 4 - 5 working days.
On the installation date, I will first collect materials and deliver them. I expect all cupboards to have been emptied and will need space for placing materials to be assembled and installed. On Delivery of the goods, the next payment is due.
During the installation period the kitchen is mine, It is unnecessary to point out any flaws during the process, A kitchen never looks at it's best during installation, Be patient and make a snag list when I tell you the project is complete. I will try and limit discomfort as much as possible, however most kitchen installations will leave you with out cooking facilities for a minimum of 3-4 days. Upon completion of installation, the next payment is due. A tip for you is to pre-cook meals for 4-6 days and freeze them, so that you can reheat them in the Microwave which you will have placed on the dining room table.
You will have a 48 hour time period to inspect the kitchen and make a snag list. Upon receipt of the snag list I will give you an estimated time to repair snags. These will be done during working hours. Upon completion of the snag list, the final payment is due.
I like to visit sometime during the next three months to re adjust doors, check for faulty hinges and other problems that have occurred, If you see a problem developing please advise me by email so that I can schedule a visit to resove them before they become major. Your project workmanship is guaranteed for one year from the completion date. All appliances, and materials are under warranttee from their respective suppliers.
